    Words have power

Words are powerful, they have the ability to inflict deep wounds, whose words are you making the rule of your life?  are they God’s words or are the people’s hateful, spiteful and vindictive words.  In my last video https://www.woundstoscars.com/emotional-wounds-and-the-bible/ I also deal with this subject.  It is important to learn what God says about you and to make that the rule of your life.  He says ‘Whatever touches you touches the apple of His eye’ Zachariah 2:8.

Through this video, you will learn how to honestly answer those difficult questions and apply the truth of God’s words to you.

  • Healing Emotional Wounds: Focus on Truth

Healing Emotional Wounds: Focus on Truth

Today we will focus on truth:  Truth releases us from the bondage of the past and the things we have been fed.

Truth frees us to believe in who God says we are.

Do you know what is your truth? If you are struggling to answer this question do not despair, God has truth for you.  If we focus on who God says we are and what He says about us, that is the best antidote against any emotional wounds.

This is our guideline for truth; whatever things are true, whatever things are noble, whatever things are just, whatever things are pure, whatever things are lovely, whatever things are of good report, if there is any virtue and if there is anything praiseworthy—meditate on these things. Philippians 4:8

Today we are delving deeper into the idea of claiming promises for emotional wounds.  our focus text is Psalms 46:10

‘Be still, and know that I am God’

When every other voice is hushed, and in quietness, we wait before Him, the silence of the soul makes more distinct the voice of God. “DA  pg 363

What would you hear if you allow yourself the luxury of silence?

    And the hills be removed,
But My kindness shall not depart from you,
Nor shall My covenant of peace be removed,”
Says the Lord, who has mercy on you.
