Sometimes holding on to the pain seems like such a good idea. It keeps us safe even from ourselves. It protects us from unwanted memories and locks us in a cocoon for a long time. There is one problem with that, the pain usually shows up in one form or the other. whether it is through physical illness or a breakdown.. The only antidote for relief is to walk the journey.
I wanted to turn the clock back on the day when I was plunged into what I call my free-fall year. The year I walk the painful journey of healing from childhood trauma. Having walked the journey I would not have it any other way.
Healing is important and necessary in moving from one stage to the next.
In this video I talked about.
Loving your wounded self
Showing empathy to yourself
Forgiving you and everyone
